 England under-21 captain Steven Taylor has recovered from his hamstring injury and will return to the Newcastle squad.
But, David Rozehnal and Claudio Cacapa have both been playing well since Steven Taylor has been out. Therefore, Taylor might not be an automatic choice for the starting line-up.
Derby Midfielder David Jones will not feature as his groin injury looks likely to prevent him from playing in this fixture. Andy Todd (back injury) is still out and will be out for the next while.
