Defender Brett Emerton was sent off in Saturday’s game against Wigan and will not feature. Blackburn lost that game against Wigan 5-3.
Earlier this month defender Andre Ooijer suffered a hamstring injury and has found out he will not be able to play for the next 3 to 4 weeks.
Midfielder Emmanuel Eboue suffered a knee ligament injury last Sunday against Chelsea which Arsenal won 1-0 against their London rivals. Eboue will take not part is this fixture and will be recovering for the next while.
Since Lassana Diarra has asked to leave Arsenal it looks like he might not get any game time in the future. However, Theo Walcott has recovered from his knee injury and looks set to start for the Gunners.
